Dive into the heart of adventure with the two new ski touring itineraries in Val Thorens, created in partnership with Salomon: the Petite Sud and the Grande Sud. These captivating trails opened in January 2024, offering mountain enthusiasts an incomparable experience within the French Alps.
It is essential to note that these trails are accessible and safe only during lift operating hours. Outside these hours, terrain preparation operations and avalanche releases may be carried out to ensure your safety.

Length: With an extension of 1.8 kilometers, the Petite Sud invites you to a gentle, progressive escapade.
Start: Begin your adventure in the Balcons district, where the prestigious Les Balcons Platinium residence offers a warm welcome.
Altitude: Start at an altitude of 2230 meters and reach the summits at 2395 meters.
Difference in altitude: Overcome a positive difference in altitude of 65 meters on your ascent.
