This is where your ski dreams become reality, whatever your level! The mountains offer holidaymakers a multitude of experiences: skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski joëring and, of course, sledging!
Sledding creates cherished memories of shared fun for young and old alike.
Dare
And you can expect adrenaline and thrills too! Lay down a challenge, set off as fast as you can, race to the finish line -may the best sledder win! You can toboggan here in winter and summer on snow or on rails, with your family or friends... One thing is sure; if you like to have fun, whatever your age, you are sure to love it!
On your sleds, ready, get set, go!
If you enjoy thrills, speed and fun, you’ll love the 3 Vallées’ numerous toboggan runs. Why not challenge your friends to a race on these long descents which allow you to gain speed without any effort.
If you’re feeling brave, tackle the 3km Moriond Racing run in Courchevel-Moriond which puts your Formula 1 driving skills to the test!
During the day or under floodlights at night, throw yourself round the switchbacks of the 'double serpent', and keep your eyes peeled as you fly through the 8 tunnels. We won't tell you any more about it here, but we can promise you a unique thrill...
For a different experience:
In Courchevel 1850, go to the Tovets ski run in Courchevel 1850, and take the 2km course through the forest to Courchevel-Village. You can enjoy this descent by day or in the evening, as the run is fully lit.
In Méribel, you can play the role of an adventurer on the "Mission Black Forest", in the magical world of the Albin forest. Extraordinary creatures and games of all kinds line the 3.4km descent which has no less than 28 bends.
In Les Menuires, the "Roc'N'Bob" offers a 4km descent with sharp turns and varied gradients.
In Val Thorens, the 6km Cosmojet, the longest sled run in France, starts at the foot of the Péclet glacier. Are you ready? Off you go for 45 minutes of thrilling sledding down a magnificent valley!
Having a great time
Family sledging: fun is guaranteed!
In Méribel, the Doron sledding area is located away from skiers and even has a ‘magic carpet’ lift to take you to the top without any effort! The gentle slopes in the Kenotte and Altiport areas allow little ones to gain confidence and experience their first descents on snow, either with or without mum and dad.
Enjoy some light-hearted fun with your family!
Unusual activities for a unique holiday
If you want to try something completely different, tackle La Mine sled run on rails in Les Menuires. The only one of its kind in Les 3 Vallées, it allows you to negotiate twists, turn and descents both in in winter and in summer. Each sled is equipped with brakes, so you can go as slow or fast as you like.
And to finish the day in style, head for Méribel Mottaret to try the Himalaya by Night, 2km of lit slopes where you can have fun in a magical, starlit atmosphere. Laughter and good times are guaranteed!
