OPTIMISED SKI LIFTS
The leap of a mountain goat
In Méribel Mottaret, the vintage cabins of the Plattières 3 gondola have been replaced by the new Bouquetin chairlift, such that you will be sped to the top in just 2 and a half minutes, without having to take off your skis.
Accessible to both up and down traffic also by pedestrians, this latest generation 6-seater chairlift allows you to access the resorts of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville or Les Menuires in the blink of an eye to make the most of the largest ski area in the world!
Les Menuires: a new gondola a the Pointe de la Masse
On the magnificent La Masse sector, a state-of-the-art gondola lift now leaves from the eponymous plateau to reach the summit at an altitude of 2804m. This is one of the fastest gondolas in France and covers the 1,050m difference in altitude in 8 minutes instead of the previous 25!
At the top, the new terrace on the roof of the semi-buried station offers a superb view of the Vallée des Belleville and the Vallon du Lou. Discover the Pointe de la Masse, one of the extraordinary panoramas of Les 3 Vallées, and enjoy its wild character and natural beauty.
Orelle: the high peaks in just 15 minutes
With the replacement of the 3 Vallées Express gondola in Orelle and the creation of a new gondola linking Orelle directly to the Cime Caron, skiers can go from 900m to 2300m in a mere 15 minutes.
Accessible from the motorway, skiers will benefit from a large free car-park with 450 spaces and modern facilities.
The linking of these two new gondolas, with the Cime Caron cable car and the Caron gondola located in the Val Thorens sector, will also allow travellers arriving from the Maurienne valley and Italy to reach the centre of Val Thorens via the peaks in just 45 minutes!

The iconic gondola lift linking Brides-les-Bains to Méribel is modernising in every aspect, its operation, its appearance and its comfort. Wide doors and soft seats, so sit back and relax after a packed day on the ski runs of Les 3 Vallées.

Méribel: Le Roc de Fer area for all
In preparation of the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships, Méribel is making improvements that will benefit both competitors and other skiers.
Thus, the new 50m long tunnel will allow everyone to access the famous sector renowned for its fabulous slopes and its view of the valley, while the competitors will benefit from a dedicated slope of international renown all season long!
L’Eclipse: a new legend is born in Courchevel
It measures 3.3km and has a vertical drop of 970m: this black run, future star of the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2023, is accessible to all from this winter.... providing you feel up to it!
One of the longest runs in Les 3 Vallées ski area, and certainly the most demanding, it winds through the forest, goes from shade to light and ends with a plunging view of the village of Courchevel-Le Praz. Take our advice; sharpen your skis and your resolve...
Courchevel-La Tania has developed its snow front for beginners
The beautiful Folyères ski run now extends to the base of the accommodation of the resort thus creating a space that is easily accessible and protected from the flow of skiers. Covered magic carpets, free ski lifts and gentle slopes have been created especially for the delight of beginners young and old.
With average slopes of 33° and a maximum of 38.6° the Vertical Xperiences are the steepest slopes in Les 3 Vallées. Located at the top of the Saulire, the Grand Couloir on the Courchevel side and the Couloir Tournier on the Méribel side guarantee a vertiginous experience.
The Freeride Lab of Courchevel raises the game again
The security checked area continues to grow with a new DVA (avalanche victim detection) park located at the foot of the two ungroomed ski runs accessible by those equipped with touring skis and skins. The perfect place to practise avalanche victim searching by looking for beacons buried in the snow with your detector. Practice, practice, practice!
IN COMPLETE RELAXATION
Take a break
A panoramic area dedicated to relaxation has been created in Courchevel-Moriond. Giant deckchairs and picnic tables are set out on a plateau facing the magnificent brèche de la Portetta.
Dotted around the summits of Les 3 Vallées, a dozen large, attractive photo frames are an invitation to take a break on the slopes. Among them, 6 are designed by the inspirational illustrator Lauriane Maria. Art and mountains in a wonderful mix.

Never without my telephone
Courchevel and Méribel Mottaret offer skiers who run out of battery power, dedicated recharging stations. You simply leave your phone plugged in a locker secured by a code and then retrieve it after a few runs.

Val Thorens and its Igloo village, season 2
Pirates are the theme of this totally frozen world this year. Whether you want to have a drink, eat a fondue or spend the night, the Igloo Village is sure to please! Accessible on skis and on foot from the resort. Open 7 days a week.
Méribel: The famous 'animal run' gets a makeover
In the Altiport sector, this popular ski run is a must for families. In the heart of a protected forest, it invites skiers and pedestrians alike to explore the fauna of Les 3 Vallées via a dedicated path. You can use your five senses to spot ibex, chamois and marmots…
Les Menuires: The Vanoise National Park visits the slopes
On the extremely unspoilt side of the Masse, the Friendly Natural Park invites you to discover the Vanoise National Park. A space dedicated to the local wildlife that you can explore between a parallel slalom, a tunnel or another playful challenge. This is the perfect way to learn about the Black Grouse and the Ptarmigan, while having fun.
