LA MINE, GOING BACK TO THE RESORT’S ORIGINS

Previously known as Speed Mountain, the newly revamped toboggan run has been transformed to reflect the spirit and history of the region’s old mines.

From this winter season onwards, it will be known as “La Mine”. The heart of the Belleville Valley is home to a fascinating mining heritage, from which the name "Menuires", or «M’nuires» as it was called in days gone by, comes from. Mined by inhabitants of the surrounding villages, they represent a historic heritage that the resort was keen to showcase.

Through an ingenious network of railway lines, you can follow the route these brave miners took to transport their precious resource. Join them for a dizzying visit to the heart of Les Menuires’ Mine! Step into your cart, and prepare to embark on a thrilling, high-speed adventure!

Access: from age 5 (1.10 metres minimum height) when sharing a toboggan with a parent, from age 10 (1.4 metres minimum height) when riding alone. Charges apply.
