In resort without a car
In resort… without a car!
The aim of any holiday, whether it involves sport or not, is to be able to switch off from your daily routine, to rest and de-stress. And not having to use your car for the whole holiday is one of the best ways to achieve that!
As well as having a positive effect on how you feel, it’s easy to do in each of Les 3 Vallées’ resorts, and it’s also good for the planet. Just take a look!
Clearing snow off your car
Scraping ice off the windscreen
Loading your skis into the car
Keeping your shoes on to drive in, then changing into ski boots afterwards
Driving on snow
Getting caught in traffic and missing the start of your child’s ski lesson
Finding somewhere to park near the slopes
Skiing!
Finding your car again
Paying to park all day
Taking your ski boots off to drive
Finding somewhere to park near your accommodation
This version, which can also be used when you go shopping, to the supermarket, to the aquafun centre etc is totally outdated. All of Les 3 Vallées resorts are laid out and organised in such a way that you don’t have to go through that experience!

A combination of perfectly adapted transport solutions
Practical – Economical- Environmentally friendly
Inter-resort shuttlebuses
All of Les 3 Vallées resorts provide a free shuttle service that operates at user friendly times and frequencies.
Les Allues, Altiport, Méribel Mottaret… 3 shuttlebus routes, all WiFi-enabled, run between Méribel’s different hamlets.
The same service is available in Courchevel, with shuttles running between the different levels and hamlets, as well as an escalator between Courchevel-Moriond and Aquamotion.
In Les Ménuires, La Croisette, Reberty, Les Airelles, Les Fontanettes and Les Bruyères are connected by shuttlebus, whilst Preyerand and Brelin can be reached by ski lifts and lifts!
In Val Thorens, the free resort shuttle operates to the various resort districts and the car parks located just below the resort.
Inter-village shuttlebuses
The free inter-villages shuttlebuses connect the 3 Belleville Valley resorts (Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens) 7 days a week, and also run to the other villages along this route (Praranger, Les Granges and Saint Marcel).

Ski lifts!
Some ski lifts can also be used for pedestrian access from one hamlet or resort to another, such as the Olympe gondola lift between Brides-les-Bains and Méribel. From Orelle, the gateway to Les 3 Vallées from the Maurienne Valley, both skiers and pedestrians can head to Val Thorens via gondola lift up to the legendary Cime Caron at an altitude of 3,200 metres: just a 45 minute ski lift ride instead of a 2 hour drive! Discover a new way to travel, up above the mountaintops…
