THE MUST-SEE EVENT OF SUMMER 2026
Grand Raid KIPRUN 3 Vallées – Moûtiers:
From 30 July to 2 August 2026, Les 3 Vallées host an exceptional trail running event. Six race formats allow everyone to take part at their own level, from discovery routes to the ultimate challenge: 170 kilometres and 12,000 metres of elevation gain across the entire ski area.
This race traces a rare route, crossing ridgelines, valleys and high-altitude traverses. Each runner moves through ever-changing scenery, carried by breathtaking panoramas and the raw intensity of a landscape that never lets up. A true endurance challenge, where the territory reveals its full vertical dimension.

The Madelon day in Courchevel
On Saturday, July 25th and Sunday, July 26th, come and enjoy a festive day in Courchevel-Le Praz with the locals. You will discover and appreciate the Savoyard heritage and local culture.
On the program: local crafts, traditional and musical entertainment, games, dancing, meals, parades, concerts...
This is an essential event in Les 3 Vallées to share with young and old alike!
EVENTS IN THE COURCHEVEL VALLEY
BJÖRKA X3 – HIGH-ALTITUDE TRIATHLON
Description : Three disciplines back-to-back, set in a demanding alpine environment. Indoor rowing, mountain biking and high-altitude trail running combine in a triathlon unlike any other.
On the programme: 6 kilometres of rowing facing the ski jumps of Le Praz, 12.2 kilometres of mountain biking to the altiport with 750 metres of ascent, followed by 9.6 kilometres of trail running with 550 metres of elevation gain, with Mont Blanc in sight. Solo or in teams of three.
Location: Courchevel Valley.

LA MADELON – TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL IN COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ
Description : A festive weekend celebrating Savoyard traditions in the heart of the village, in an atmosphere inspired by the past.
On the programme: Costume parades, folk music, traditional dances, local specialities and entertainment for all ages.
Location: Courchevel Le Praz village.
Dates: 25 and 26 July 2026.
FIS SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP – THE ONLY FRENCH STAGE
Description : Courchevel hosts the only French stage of the Ski Jumping World Cup, a long-standing event for over 30 years.
On the programme: Spectacular performances by the world’s best ski jumpers, aerial displays and a vibrant atmosphere at the Olympic site.
Location: Olympic ski jumping hill at Le Praz.
Dates: Early August 2026 (exact date to be confirmed).
RED BULL 400 – THE STEEPEST RACE IN THE WORLD
On the programme: An extreme 400-metre climb up the Olympic ski jumping hill at Le Praz, with a 36% gradient and 185 metres of elevation gain.
Location: Olympic ski jumping hill at Le Praz.
Date: Early July 2026.
MILLET XTRAIL COURCHEVEL
Description: A unique trail concept in France: one single start, one identical entry fee, and six distances to choose from during the race depending on how you feel.
On the programme: From 11 to 66 kilometres across alpine pastures, mountain passes and sections within the Vanoise National Park. Up to 4,100 metres of elevation gain for the longest route. An event designed as a progressive gateway into ultra-trail running.
Location: Courchevel Valley.
Date: 26 July 2026.
THE CYCLING EVENT – MTB FESTIVAL & TEST CENTER
Description : A must-attend event for mountain biking enthusiasts, blending sport, innovation and conviviality at altitude.
On the programme: Competitions and races, technical descents and high-altitude routes. An exhibitor village, equipment testing, leading brands, professional rider demonstrations and entertainment complete the experience.
Location: Courchevel Valley.
Dates: From 14 to 16 August 2026.
EVENTS IN THE MÉRIBEL VALLEY
MÉRIBEL HYBRID GAMES
Description: Méribel hosts for the first time a competition format combining CrossFit, Hyrox and trail running. Three complementary disciplines for a complete physical challenge.
On the programme: Three days of challenges blending strength and endurance in a mountain environment. Each discipline brings its own demands, with intensity that never lets up.
Location: Méribel.
Dates: From 10 to 12 July 2026.
FRENCH ENDURO MTB CUP
Description: Méribel hosts a round of the national enduro mountain biking championship. France’s top riders gather for two days of intense competition.
On the programme: Technical descents and demanding sections testing control and bike handling on challenging alpine terrain.
- Location : Méribel.
Dates: 25 & 26 July 2026.
FISE DISTRICT
Description: Freestyle BMX takes over Méribel-Mottaret for three days dedicated to urban riding at altitude.
On the programme: Professional rider demonstrations, free initiations, funbox and freestyle quarter pipes. BMX culture brings its full energy to the mountains without losing any intensity.
Location: Méribel-Mottaret.
Dates: From 28 to 30 July 2026.

The Fanfoué day in Méribel
This is the traditional festival of the Allues Valley, where you can enjoy a multitude of specially organized events, including pedal carousels, chainsaw sculptures, baking bread in the village oven, Alphorn and Hunting Horn players, and much more!
It's the perfect time to share a fun and educational moment with your family and learn more about Savoyard traditions in the heart of the 3 Vallées!
ASICS MÉRIBEL TRAIL
Description: A trail running weekend offering eight different formats to explore every facet of mountain running in Méribel.
On the programme: From Friday evening, the Crêtes Night Race sets the tone: 22 km and 1,100 metres of elevation gain, solo or in pairs, as daylight fades. Also featured: a Vertical Kilometre for pure climbing enthusiasts, a 5 km, a 2 km, and races dedicated to children.
Location: Méribel.
Dates: From 7 to 9 August 2026.
FRENCH VERTICAL RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Description: A vertical time trial where the best French specialists tackle 1,000 metres of ascent over 2.7 kilometres in a straight line.
On the programme: A relentless climb where everything depends on mastering the gradient. A pure, spectacular and intense effort.
Location: Méribel-Mottaret.
Date: 8 August 2026.
MÉRIBEL CYCLO CHALLENGE
Description: A multi-stage cyclosportive held over three days in the heart of the 3 Vallées. Steep climbs, short efforts and rolling sections follow one another across the territory.
On the programme:
- Stage 1: Brides-les-Bains – Méribel-Mottaret, 17 kilometres and 1,135 metres of elevation gain.
- Stage 2: Time trial Les Menuires – Col de Tougnète, 7 kilometres and 700 metres of ascent.
- Stage 3: Les Allues – Col de la Loze (2,275 metres altitude), 15 kilometres and 1,235 metres of elevation gain.
Flexible format: take part in a single stage or complete all three days.

EVENTS IN BRIDES-LES-BAINS
COL DE LA LOZE CHALLENGE
Description: In Brides-les-Bains, cyclists take on one of the most iconic climbs in the French Alps.
On the programme: Several formats allow you to experience the event at your own pace, from discovery routes to the full ascent reaching 2,304 metres at the summit, set against a breathtaking alpine backdrop.
Location: Start in Brides-les-Bains.
Date: 19 July 2026.
The must-haves
August 15th celebration in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Come and discover the largest traditional pilgrimage in Savoie, which culminates with the arrival at the foot of the oratory of Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie followed by a mass in the chapel.
This must-see event will immerse you in local history and traditions, for a cultural experience rich in emotions.
Come and participate in the festive afternoon in the village of Saint-Martin, where numerous entertainment, shows and concerts await you.
To make the pleasure last, a convivial evening with concert, meal and bar will be organized, accompanied by a magnificent fireworks display to finish in style.
EVENTS IN THE BELLEVILLE VALLEY
ALPINE PASTURE ASCENT AT CHEZ PÉPÉ NICOLAS
Description: The start of the summer season is marked by this ancestral tradition, setting the tone for the months ahead.
On the programme: The departure from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville marks the beginning of the transhumance, as herds of cows and goats pass through the villages of the Belleville Valley on their way to the alpine pasture of Chez Pépé Nicolas. Upon arrival, a friendly lunch and a range of activities await at the farm.
Location: From Saint-Martin-de-Belleville to the alpine pasture at Chez Pépé Nicolas.
Date: 20 June 2026.
BELLEVILLE KIDS ENDURO MTB CHALLENGE
Description: A competition designed to introduce young riders to enduro, combining sport, technique and enjoyment.
On the programme: Four stages tailored for children aged 9 to 14 across different spots in the valley.
Date: 19 July 2026
MOUSSE AU SOMMET
Description: A festive and gourmet weekend centred around craft beer, in the warm atmosphere of Saint-Martin.
On the programme: DJ set by Laurent Wolf, best beer competition, workshops, brewing demonstrations, tastings and meetings with local brewers.
Location: Saint-Martin-de-Belleville.
Dates: 24 and 25 July 2026.
LE RE-TOUR DE BELLEVILLE
Description: Take on one of the longest road climbs in Europe: 33 km and 2,000 metres of elevation gain to reach Val Thorens at 2,365 metres altitude.
On the programme: Departure from Saint-Jean-de-Belleville, a legendary ascent and a triumphant finish in Val Thorens.
Dates: From 31 July to 2 August 2026.
11TH EDITION OF THE VAL THO SUMMIT GAMES IN VAL THORENS
Description: With trail formats designed for all levels, the Val Tho Summit Games are the perfect event for runners seeking high-altitude challenges, to be shared with family or friends, with routes ranging from fun runs to UTMB qualifying races.
Programme & Dates:
- Friday 7 August: VT Trail Kids, with three courses depending on age (1.3 km / +54 m – 2.6 km / +96 m – 3.8 km / +214 m),
- Saturday 8 August: VT Speed 3200, a vertical kilometre (4.8 km / +1,000 m) finishing at Cime Caron,
- Sunday 9 August: VT Trail Pursuit (10 km / +500 m – 20 km / +1,000 m – 42 km / +2,200 m, UTMB qualifying race) and VT Family Fun Walk, an accessible 6 km route from age 3, punctuated with activities.
RUN & RIBS
Description: In Val Thorens, trail running takes on a relaxed atmosphere. An accessible loop followed by a convivial barbecue.
On the programme: 5 to 10 kilometres of mountain running, followed by an outdoor meal. Effort, fresh air and good vibes guaranteed.
Location: Val Thorens.
Dates: July and August 2026.
