Get your blood pumping in Les 3 Vallées !

Whether you see your holidays as sporty or relaxing, the 3 Vallées is the place for you! From mountain biking to water activities and trail running, this immense playground is brimming with possibilities. Here’s a short selection.

1.

E-MTB

The boom in e-MBT (electric mountain biking) has opened the mountains up to the general public.

Today, beginners, experts, adults and children can all discover the joys of riding free, exploring the region, and of course conquering peaks they would never have imagined!

In Les 3 Vallées, this discipline has developed to offer routes designed for everyone:

The challenging Enduro events: Méribel, Les Crêtes, and Moûtiers!The gentle Belleville route towards the Lac du Lou from the Plan de l’Eau des Bruyères in Les Menuires

  • Les Avals next to Courchevel Moriond are magnificent, but bikers must be experienced!
  • La Dent du Villard, an iconic mountain overlooking the Lac de la Rosière, for top-level experts;
  • Le Lac de Tueda in Méribel-Mottaret: from the resort for a fun nature trail with the family, or from the centre of Méribel of the Refuge de la Traye for a more challenging version;
  • The unmissable hidden paradise of Les Encombres in the Vallée des Belleville;
  • Also in the Belleville area, the Geffriand Enduro is a great event for experienced riders!
  • Open to all, the cycle path from Méribel and Courchevel 1850 to Col de la Loze.

2.

WATER SPORTS

There’s more to life than the sea. There are also lakes!

The mountains abound with these oases that appear as if from nowhere as you turn the corner. Perfect for cooling down during an uphill hike. Others are far more accessible and offer the ideal setting for an alpine break. You can take your time, watch the peaks reflect in the blue waters, try your hand at fly fishing, walk along the banks and maybe dip your feet! The unmissable sites in Les 3 Vallées:

  • The heavenly little Lac de la Rosière in Courchevel Moriond (a gem nestled at the foot of the Dent du Villard mountain);
  • The Plan du Vah on the way to Courchevel 1850;
  • The Plan de l’Eau des Bruyères in Les Menuires, a peaceful haven for the whole family with lots of activities for everyone;
  • The Lac de Tueda in the nature reserve in Méribel-Mottaret.

Next, we are staying in the same element, but with a slight difference. Get ready for white waters with canyoning, rafting, and riverboarding down the valley’s waterways! You can find out more at the guides’ offices in your resort:

Finally, for splashing about with family, friends, as a couple or on your own, there are a number of leisure centres in the resorts of the 3 Valleys. Featuring swimming pools, slides, massage rooms and more, you’re sure to find something for everyone!

Les 3 Vallées offers an immense playground for everyone who loves the great outdoors, fresh air, and hard work rewarded with stunning panoramic views.

You’ve guessed it: trail runners can enjoy an infinite range of routes! And while the grass is not always greener on the other side, it definitely is on the two superb golf courses in the 3 Vallées: a nine-hole in Courchevel 1850 in the Jardin Alpin sector and an 18-hole in Méribel near the Altiport.
