Make the most of Les 3 Vallées with total peace of mind this summer and winter!
Les 3 Vallées ski lifts are open from July 4th to August 28th 2020
So that we can welcome our visitors in the best possible conditions this summer, our ski lift companies and mountain professionals have come together to ensure Les 3 Vallées can be explored and enjoyed with total peace of mind. The ski lifts are implementing all of the health and safety guidelines specified by the French government, as well as their own health and safety charters.
Whilst the mountains are quite naturally a source of open air and freedom, it is everyone’s responsibility to respect the rules of good behaviour …
Discover the main protective measures…
The gondola lift and chairlift capacity remains as before. As is the same for public transport, all passengers over the age of 11 must wear a mask, and respect the recommended social distancing.
The capacity of La Saulire cable car is adapted in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
As a public transport provider, we fully respect the French government’s recommendations. General measures such as hand hygiene, social distancing and regular cleaning of shared premises, surfaces and equipment have been implemented. Masks must be worn by all sales staff, ski lift personnel etc. The same rule applies to customers. Masks must be worn from the ski lift entry gate until the end of the gondola lift, cable car or chairlift journey for anyone over the age of 11.
This rule also applies to the «Speedmountain» toboggan run on rails in Les Menuires.
Masks are available to purchase in the pharmacies, at the departure point of some ski lifts (Tougnète gondola lift in Méribel), in some sales outlets (Saint Martin and Roc 1 chairlifts, Speedmountain in Les Menuires and Saint Martin) and in some resort tourist offices.
You can wash your hands with soap and water in the public toilets and with the hand sanitiser available for that purpose in the departure/arrival stations. Surfaces and objects used by many different people, such as credit card machines, bank notes and card readers, door handles, railings, surfaces and payment counters will be regularly cleaned, as will all premises open to the public.
Both in summer and winter, we recommend you buy your ski lift pass from your Tour Operator or Travel Agent. This avoids any queueing at skipass sales outlets and keeps contact to a strict minimum.
Tour Operators provide this service free of charge and your ski lift passes will be waiting for you on arrival. Those who prefer to pay and collect their ski lift pass from the sales outlet will be asked to pay by credit or debit card wherever possible using contactless payment.
….And for this winter, rest assured that we will continue to adapt and implement the appropriate health and safety measures to make sure your stay in Les 3 Vallées, the world’s largest ski area, is unforgettable.
