K2 Altitude earns its first Michelin star
11 Michelin stars for 10 gastronomic restaurants!
- The chefs’ journey: Having trained in demanding environments and renowned establishments, including private circles where attention to detail and precision of service are paramount, Guillaume Duchemin joined Le K2 Collections in 2011 and gradually rose through the ranks to head up the kitchens, placing particular emphasis on passing on his expertise and supporting his teams in a constant pursuit of excellence.
For his part, trained in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Italy, then shaped by prestigious establishments such as the Ritz Paris and Michelin-starred restaurants in Switzerland, Davide Sessa has built his career in demanding culinary environments, developing precise, contemporary cuisine driven by technical mastery, high standards and a strong international culture.
Culinary philosophy: The chefs champion great traditional French cuisine, revisited with precision and modernity. Wild mushroom tartlet, Beaufort onion soup, roasted endive, roasted scallops, John Dory confit in olive oil, blue lobster, sweetbreads, Bresse poultry… Here, the classics regain their full nobility, elevated by contemporary techniques and exceptional produce.

A warm atmosphere: Nestled within the K2 Altitude hotel, the restaurant unfolds in a relaxed, welcoming lounge setting, recently renovated, where attentive service meets a memorable culinary experience.
Specialities to discover: Among K2 Altitude’s signature dishes are the wild mushroom tartlet with fermented cep jus, and roasted venison with tangy beetroot and cranberries in a grand veneur sauce. The menu celebrates noble produce and sauces of the highest calibre, in the purest French tradition.
