2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the 3 Vallées Enduro, the largest gathering of amateur skiers in the world in the largest ski area in the world!
To ensure the event stays forever etched in your memory, the 3 Vallées and Salomon are putting together a day packed with surprises to celebrate the Enduro's 10th birthday.
All of the 3 Vallées resorts are working hard to organise the best day any skier could possibly wish for in spring.
You be the judge: in a sporty, welcoming atmosphere, whatever your category or your goal, teams of 3 can enjoy a superb day of skiing filled with special, original and fun challenges, not forgetting the huge Savoyard buffet!
Freeride, Big Air Bag, Freestyle, Family schuss, Skicross, Triplette des Belleville, Acticross... there are countless challenges open to everyone, all topped off by a generous awards ceremony back in your departure resort! It's set to be a 10th birthday to remember, with a very special gift for everyone which we're keeping as a surprise. There'll be no fewer than 10 sports challenges to choose between, as many as there are candles on the cake!
For the last decade, the 3 Vallées and Salomon have brought you new events each year and will continue to do so in the years to come!

WHAT?
3 people team.An unforgettable day at ski, snowboard or telemark in the 3 Vallées, with different races in each valley : Big Air Bag, Freeride, Giant slalom, Moguls, Skicross, Triplette des Belleville, Boardercross, Family Schuss, Adri'Naline, Speed Skiing
The races are timed or judged and the classification depends on the total number of points won during each race. The races are not compulsory, each team can decide, according to its shape and ski level, to take part in some or all the races.
The link routes, between each race, are not timed.
Possibility to pick-up your bibs on Sunday, the 8th of April.
The races will be recognizable on Sunday, the 8th of April. However, they are not closed to the public, so please be very careful and respect the rules on the slopes.
WHO?
Open to all skiers.Pros :
- Minimum 2 FFS members in the same team
- Minimum 2 ski pros in the same team
- 3 children registered by their ski club, whatever their age
Families :
- 1 adult and 2 children under 16 years old with minimum 2 persons from the same family
- 2 adults and 1 child under 16 years old from the same family
- 3 children under 16 with minimum 2 children from the same family
Sporting Amateurs :
All the teams that are neither in pros, nor in families!
PROGRAM
- 7.30am Appointment in your departure resort to pick up your number (information in the Ski Club or at the Tourist Office)- 9am Departure
- 11am to 3pm Savoyard buffet in Méribel Mottaret (refreshment points located along the itinerary)
- 4pm Races closing time
- 6pm : Price-giving ceremony and cocktails in the resorts of departure.

COURCHEVEL
- NEW FOR 2012 : Giant Slalom – Emile Allais slalom stadium : Follow in the tracks of stars such as Lindsay VONN, Marlies SCHILD and Courchevel's very own Taïna BARIOZ on the new race that played host to the Ladies Skiing World Cup.- Freeride – Couloir de la Saulire : A unique opportunity to show off your freeriding talent! There are two different starting points: if your legs turn to jelly, don't worry, choose the 2nd one which is a lot easier.
- Big Air Bag – Family Park : Jump, and land on a big inflatable air cushion. There's no risk of hurting yourself when you land, so just let yourself go, big time! Push back your limits and act like a pro. Experience a huge adrenalin rush in total safety!
LA TANIA
- Kilomètre Lancé / Speed Skiing (KL) – Slalom stadium : You're about to ski downhill in a straight line, so get yourself into the most aerodynamic position possible and stay there until you reach your maximum speed!MERIBEL
- NEW FOR 2012: Moguls – Face slope : Pretend to be Guilbaud COLAS or one of the other amazing pros who take part in the World Cup event that is held in Méribel every year; mogul after mogul, keeping your knees together! The more you feel the burn in your thighs, the better you are.MERIBEL-MOTTARET
- Skicross – Snowpark DC Area (Plattières Snowpark) : Adapted to suit everyone, participants of all ages will love this challenge!LES MENUIRES
- Triplette des Belleville - Slalom stadium : Lined up in a row, the three of you set off at the same time to see which team member gets there first ! Don't look at each other as you race down!- Boardercross (Acticross) – BK Park : Riddled with bumps, jumps, and raised turns, you'll have a whale of a time in this course!
VAL THORENS
- NEW FOR 2012 : Adri'Naline – Tetras slope : Imagine yourself in the ski boots of Adrien THÉAUX (who took the 3rd place in Kitzbühel's downhill and 1st place in Lenzerheide) as you hurtle down the run, experiencing the thrills and spills of a downhill! Go for it!- Family Schuss – Génépi slope : On this quiet slope, which welcome racers of all ages, nothing counts more than the stopwatch. Everyone loves this race, so much that we've made it even longer this year!
