Traditional rural values

Situated at the entrance to the Vallée des Belleville, at an altitude of 1 450 m, Saint Martin was, for a long time, a bastion of traditional rural values. Today Saint Martin has turned into a real village ski resort, without having lost any of its initial identity. One can stay in charming hotels, comfortable chalets or even bed & breakfast with an inhabitant. One can admire the richness of the Baroque style while enjoying a musical pause in the church. From discrete buildings to conservative renovations, the village and its hamlets now have about 2 600 tourist beds.

Equipment on the piste has followed the same qualitative development. From Saint Martin, skiers are sometimes surprised to discover an 8-seater cable car, which takes only a few minutes to connect into Les 3 Vallées piste system. Something to open up the horizon to even the most demanding of skiers without losing sight of the most important: coming back to the village when night falls.
