Méribel embodies the charm of an alpine village, with its wooden and stone chalets, scattered around the mountain. 

Here, all accommodation in ski-in, ski-out, from every part of the resort: Altiport, Belvédère, Rondpoint des pistes, la Chaudanne, Méribel Village, les Allues...this is how the resort's founders, architects and inhabitants wanted it, in order to make it a unique and very special place.
Discovered by Scottish soldier Peter Lindsay, Méribel has been a popular resort for over 70 years and has evolved with the time. Méribel represents the art of living in the mountains, bringing together demanding sportsmen with contemplative types, hedonists, gourmets, enthusiasts, children and grand-parents, locals and holiday makers. 

Méribel's history and traditions are still alive today, delighting its very loyal clients, thanks to the resort's carefully regulated development. Over the decades Méribel has taken great care of its most important asset: its mountain setting.
