The bus station of Moutiers was created in 1992 for the Winter Olympic Games. It is one of 8 bus terminals of the Departement (Aime, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aix-les-Bains, Modane, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne). Its role is to ensure transfers between the SNCF railway system and the resorts.
